An Air Jordan 1 Mid in Hyper Royal? Why not, right?

There used to be no middle ground when it comes to Jordan 1s. Times have drastically changed with the shoe gaining fans who want more affordable options. Once laughed at and mocked by the OGs, these Mids by Jordan Brand has never been this in demand in years!

Blame it on elitism and the like, but for us? we’re not down with the haterade on the shoe. If it’s nicely made and more affordable, then why the hell not? Remember that it’s not just the shoe but how you rock them. A few tweaks on a classic won’t hurt!

A nicely played version of the OG Air Jordan 1 High Royal the Air Jordan 1 Mid Hyper Royal is a nice standalone shoe that works the classic colors into its shape- without compromising its modern feel.

The black and blue treatment here is so similar to the classic shoe. We bet it’s going to get some necks breaking and some conversations going. They look so near to the classic hightops that you can fool anyone from a healthy distance on feet.

The black nylon tongues though is another story with the Jumpman logo instead of the Nike Air logo. The wings logo is retained and are rounded out with black outsoles. Overall, it’s done well setting it apart to be still recognized as a new offering.

You can grab the Air Jordan 1 Mid Hyper Royal from the Nike webstore in a few weeks for a friendly price of $120(~Php 5.8k).

Speaking of Jordans, here’s why we think 2021 is still going to be big on sneakers despite the challenging circumstances.
