We get it: aside from Dunks, Air Jordan 1s are pretty much popular to sneakerheads these days. Unlike with the Dunk, the focus on the Air Jordan 1 is more on the OG high cut model than the modern low version.

There are a number of Air Jordan 1 low colorways that we think deserve more attention than some colorways on the OG high versions (don’t crucify us on this), and this Pollen colorway deserves the same love as its high-cut OG sibling.

Our friends over at HypeGeek recently got a pair after the Travis Scott x Fragment Air Jordan 1s, and he has nice words for this rather underrated pair. Sporting a clean yellow and white color blocking, the Pollen Air Jordan 1 Low utilizes the modern tooling with the Jumpman logo on the tongue and the Wings logo on the heel.

They have an all-leather upper that utilizes smooth leather on both the yellow and white panels. They are not as premium as the leather used on some Air Jordan 1 High OG models–but then, it is hard to complain since the Air Jordan 1 Low costs a hair under Php 5k AND they are more accessible than most high cut models (you can cop a pair in some Nike stores if you really want one now).

With their clean color blocking and its use of yellow, they are great in making a statement, not to mention that they are not as expensive as most Air Jordan 1s out there.

What are your thoughts on the Air Jordan 1 Low in general? Are they as hype-worthy as the high-cut versions?
