To have a signature sneaker under your name is very much a big deal. It just means that you’ve immortalized yourself. It’s one of those top boxes that you should tick that says you’ve finally made it!

When Paul Rodriguez first signed with Nike SB, it was a very BIG DEAL. Imagine how life-changing that can be? What’s awesome is that we’ve got our very own to hold it down by way of a human sparkplug named Margie Didal! If it went under your radar, Margie Didal has her own New Balance Numeric Sneaker–and you too can cop one.

Margie Didal‘s Tokyo 2021 Olympic experience may be over, but it’s her overall positive demeanor that we can’t get enough of. She emits so much zeal and joy for the sport that we’ve got to find something wearable to remind us of her. Of course, she won the hearts of many through her skateboarding skills and meme-worthy facial expressions, but if you’re into sneakers you better take note of this… it’s in fact another win!

Only a few Filipinos can lay claim to the fact that they have their own signature skate shoe. One Filipino that comes to mind is Willy Santos, who had a nice run of Pro Skate shoes with Vans. To see another one from our team with her own shoe is just nothing short of exciting!

Didal with skate legend Tony Hawk

Launched just April last year, this is the exact pair Margie Didal rocked recently as she wowed the whole world: the New Balance NM379 Numeric in the gray, red, blue, and yellow colorway. Obviously a nod to the Philippine flag colorway, it’s a simple, yet tastefully done shoe. Less of the loud, more of the form and function with enough pops of color.

The said signature shoe also features Didal’s name on the sides of the shoes. Truly, a collector’s item that you can rock. And yes, you don’t even have to pay resell for them like other shoes out there!

The New Balance NM379 Numeric “Margie Didal” Sneakers are thankfully still available for only Php 4995 via Common Ground, so act with the quickness and cop a pair of world-class Philippine skate history today!

What’s not readily available though are the Travis Scott X Fragment Jordan 1’s whose launch did not go well. Read about it here.
