Perfect for the scorching summer heat of the season comes this one. Definitely one of the most timeless models under LeBron James‘ name, Nike has just decided on a retro release of the famed LeBron 8 South Beach, and we’re 100% sure people will be hyped up about this retro release.

Originally dropped back in October 2010, this shoe marks an era in LeBron’s career when he left the Cleveland Cavaliers for the Miami Heat—which got him some serious heat literally and figuratively. It is also part of the “pre-heat” colorways for the LeBron 8, and is arguably the first Nike sneaker to have the “pre-heat” concept to hype up the release.

This shoe though, welcomed his arrival with a day glow Miami Vice colorway that has become one of the most recognizable colorways with an interesting story to match. 11 years later, it is still sought after and fetching to as much as $800-$1000 in StockX.

The uppers are of a cool Filament Green tone, with leather and synthetic panels sporting the trademark Nike Flywire, while a tonal debossed Swoosh is seen on the medial side of the toe box.

The tongue features a lion graphic with a shade of pink flash on the eyes along with the laces, eyestays and tongue trim for that complementary tone. To make the shoe more memorable, the teal Air Max units are matched with a dash of pink to make for one of the most eye catching LeBron shoes of all time.

The Nike LeBron 8 South Beach is dropping this May, and will be priced at $200(~Php 9.7k). There’s no exact day yet—but best be on your toes before others beat you to it, as this retro release is expected to sell out quick.
