It’s been 25 years since Nike first unveiled its iconic Air Max 95. When the pair first hit the shelves, it came in its original “neon” colorway boasting bright green and grey shades. For 2020, Nike aims to pay homage to the well-renowned silhouette. Instead of just having a retro release, they decided to change things up a bit.

The Nike Air Max 95 NDSTRKT is a brand new variation of the classic we have come to love. Unlike the previous design, the sneaker dons a durable ballistic mesh upper accompanied by an overlay of plastic cages at the toe box, sides, and heel. In an effort to stick to its roots, the Air Max 95 NDSTRKT reuses the same “neon” colorway that is found in the very first Air Max 95 released way back in 1995.

The neon colorway is further incorporated into the sneaker through the neon accents on the pairs eyelets, mini Swoosh branding by the ankle, and the iconic Air Max 95 midsole. Overall, the sneaker blends old with new and offers a new perspective to such a classic model. This leads us to the question: which classic sneaker will Nike revamp next?

The sneaker does not yet have an official release date and retail price, but the sneaker is expected to hit the shelves late this year or early next year. In other Air Max 95 news, head over to this article to see: How Will The Dior x Nike Air Max 95 Turn Out?
