Things are looking bright for 2021! Nike, Jordan Brand and Converse seem to be have joined forces to create something special for the upcoming Chinese New Year with an extensive collection. A wide variety of color schemes, patterns and materials, the collection highlights three themes: the explosive firecracker, the artisanal Chinese knot and the naturalistic spring blossom. Indeed, very, very interesting!

The Swoosh takes it to heart with shoes from their colorful past to their bright present with the Dunk Low OG’s and the Women’s Dunk Low Disrupt. The two come in loud with firecracker-inspired graphics. The Kyrie 7, AM 2090, SuperRep 2 and the Blazers are given a creative knot treatment. The Air Max Verona and the Blazer Mids are decked out in pink and white to resemble orchids and peonies.

On Jordan Brand Territory comes the Air Jordan 1 Low OG, The Air Jordan 5, Air Jordan 35 and the Jordan Delta. They feature Jacquard Year of the Ox patterns, lotus root tassels and even a collectible card. One highlight is their Air Jordan 35 with a black red color blocking and a tear-away feature.

Converse gives off the CNY vibes via new versions of the Chuck 70. Each of them feature quilted patchworks and woven patterns. The bright orange uppers round out the shoe celebration.

Along with the shoes are wearables that range from jackets, hoodies and dresses all drawing inspiration from Chinese costumes.

The products drop have started last January 1. Jordan Brand’s sneaker offerings drop on January 14 while the Air Jordan I Low OG launches January 31. CNY colorways of the Converse Chuck 70 will be ready to cop January 21.
