As the NBA season is slowly returning back to normal, Nike went ahead in announcing Giannis Antetokounmpo’s new signature sneaker with the Zoom Freak 2.

For the second iteration, Nike Basketball Senior Design Director Ross Klein maximized Giannis’ Euro Step skills in designing the Zoom Freak 2. A standout design on this basketball sneaker is the two-piece outsole design, which aims to maximize a player’s performance—from driving towards the ring to landing down to the floor.

For better cushioning, Nike used a thick Zoom Air unit on the forefoot with no foam in between, along with a midfoot shank for added support.

Nike will be dropping four colorways of the Zoom Freak 2. The “Naija” will drop on July 25, followed by the Black/White on August 7, “Bamo” on September 18, and White/Cement on October 1.
