After milking out the Air Jordan 1 High OG in the past few years, Nike has lately been capitalizing on the OG Low version–which is dstinguished by the classic Wings logo on the heel tab and Nike Air on the tongue. Nike has released several colorways for the Air Jordan 1 Low OG, including a Travis Scott collab that’s reportedly going to be his last variation for the silhouette. Those looking for a clean and underrated pair should look forward to the “University Red” Air Jordan 1 Low OG, which is said to drop this October.

Aside from that clean dominant white upper with University Red accents on the Swoosh, Heel, sock liner, and Nike Air branding, what makes this pair stand out is the box–you get a University Red Air Jordan 1 OG box to go along with it. We like the small details that are done to the packaging for sneakers, and a color change for the box is a subtle-yet-tasteful approach.

As for the official renders, the “University Red” Air Jordan 1 Low OG appear to have full-grain leather used for the entire upper, along with an embroidered Wings logo on the heel tab to elevate the look–the actual Air Jordan 1 Low OG from 1985 usually have a debossed Wings logo on the heel tab, so the embroidered approach makes us think that Nike will market them as a premium offering.

The “University Red” Air Jordan 1 Low OG is set to drop on October 13 for $140 or around Php 7,995.
