3.Yes Day

There’s nothing like a great family adventure. Yes, we’ve had quite a few and it’s such fun to reminisce. This movie, however, is a not like your typical family adventure. It all starts when a mom and dad break their “no” streak and decide to say “yes” to all their kid’s requests, with hilarious results.

4. Start-Up 

Stars: Bae Suzy (Seo Dal-mi), Nam Joo-hyuk (Nam Do-san), Nam Joo-hyuk (Nam Do-san)

The Philippines went wild when this gem of a Korean Drama first aired on Netflix. Of course, there was the ongoing debate of Good Boy or Han Ji-pyeong vs. Nam Do-san, but hearts were definitely moved whenever Choi Won-deok, everyone’s tv grandma, went on-screen. Start-Up revolves around aspiring techies’ lost dreams, new adventures, healing, and of course, family. The story is very smartly-written and engaging. It’s not too late to watch it if you haven’t!

5.The Mitchells and The Machines

Starring: Maya Rudolph (Linda Mitchell)

All families are different. This particular one, doubly so, but when push comes to shove (by push we mean a robot apocalypse) this family comes together to save their family cross-country road trip, and the human race.

6. Moxi 

Stars: Amy Poehler (Lisa)

Like mother, like daughter? Inspired by her mom’s rebellious past and a confident new friend, a shy 16-year-old publishes an anonymous zine calling out sexism at her school. The show is based from on the novel by Jennifer Mathieu.

7. Mama Mia
