Truly, exceptional Filipino talent can be found everywhere. We definitely have that “It” factor that our artistry is indeed global as global can get! As DJ Khaled says here’s “another one.”

A follow up to “Dior Deposits” which was hailed by the New York Times as one of the best albums of the year, 1176 paints the artist’s life, career and rich Filipino heritage captured in infectious urban soundscapes to appeal to music fans of all ages.

The album 1176 features How Many, a bouncy single and video which brings us further to Guapdad 4000’s musical vision.

Executive produced by fellow Fil-Am !LLMIND, the album is all about telling his side of the story in the most sonically-pleasing ways possible.

!LLMIND, is indeed a heavyweight in his chosen field. An A-List producer who’s worked with the best of them like Kanye West, Ariana Grande, Drake and Ludacris, the esteemed producer says Guapdad is “literally one of the most talented artists” he has ever come across.

I had such a blast working with him on this project and even though we’re from opposite coasts, we are similar in so many ways. He brought the best out of me on this project and made my job easy. The music is crazy! – !LLMIND on Guapdad 4000

Dubbed as “the secret weapon of the [Revenge of the Dreamers III] sessions” by Complex, Guapdad 4000 is definitely a star on the rise for astronomical things ahead. With a Grammy nomination, a slew of viral singles, and tours with P Lo, Earthgang (Dreamville) and Denzel Curry, this artist is bringing Filipino artistry to the top!

Dropping this March 19th via 88rising’s sister label PARADISE RISING, 1176 marks Guapdad 4000 and !LLMIND as the first ever landmark artists to release a full-length through the young label which is dedicated to uplifting artists of Filipino descent.

“The album weaves in the commonalities between Asian & American culture, diving even deeper into those stories through his music,” the record label’s statement concluded.

PARADISE RISING, a label spearheaded by Globe, and 88rising aims to serve as a platform to establish a presence for Philippine artists in the West and globally through music distribution, music rights management, and artists development.
