Joining in a number of celebrities releasing their own sneaker designs with partner brands, Kid Cudi makes his first sneaker with adidas official just in time when he is dropping Man on the Moon III today.
Called the Vadawam 326, Cudi’s sneaker is named after his daughter Vada, giving it a personal touch for him. As for the sneaker itself, the Vadawam 326 takes inspiration on four things: Sci-Fi, NASA, 90s’ basketball sneaker, and his daughter.
Built from the ground up, the Vadawam 326 has a good mix of the old and new. It uses a familiar Torsion System for the midsole, while the upper has a unique, deconstructed look with smooth leather and suede overlays. Instead of laces, you get three straps for proper foot lockdown while looking fashionable.
You get a 326 branding on the ankle collar (which represents the birthday of Cudi’s daughter) and a Kid Cudi x adidas branding on the heel.
The Vadawam 326 will be available in Core Black/Night Grey/Solar Pink and a White/Ecru Tint/Easy Yellow and will drop globally on December 17 for $180(~Php 8.7k).
