The year is about to end and surely, the economy had gotten thin. Nonetheless, here’s something to lighten–rather fatten up the mood.

An offering that’s fit for the holidays, Nike SB is coming out strong once again from the pigpen that is with the Nike SB Dunk Low “Pink Pig” – a suede-laden sneaker that is a direct tribute to the Porsche 917/20 Race Car as featured from the 1971 24 Hours of Le Mans.

The said Porsche car has earned its name because of its all pink colorway, not to mention the design that slyly captured the car’s panels as if it came from a butcher diagram of a pig. The shoe pays a nod to it although less graphically and is more of a play on color and concept.

Decked out in blush pink suede, the shoe is accented with red stitching to capture the design approach to the car itself. More red gives way to the swoosh giving it more of a subtle pop of color. The pink reaches the fattened up tongue which reaches the bottom part of the sole which is surrounded by a black outsole with white sitting on top of it.
Rumors say that the Nike Dunk Low SB Pink Pig will drop at Nike’s website and at select SB stores next year.
While you’re anticipating this all pink offering, best get on the Illest X Medicom Bearbricks, which also pays homage to the Pink Pig!
