Nike has been launching pretty good pairs this year, including the luxurious A Ma Maniére x Air Jordan 3  and the comfy Air Jordan 11 CMFT. If you are looking for a classic, non-hype pair, this one definitely joins in the mix. While bold and unique pairs are definitely welcome, there’s always space for pairs with clean lines and crisp colorways. Does your closet have space for another minimalist pair? That might slot might be meant for the new Nike Air More Uptempo Light Citron.

I’m a fan of minimalist, basic fashion, and why not? It’s super wearable and it makes it easy to look look and chic when you’re too lazy to think of what to wear. What I love about the new Light Citron pair, is that it’s minimalist, but with hint of swag.

The pair refreshes the iconic “AIR” lettering by wrapping it with light yellow that almost looks golden. Gold is bit too bold for me, so this is perfect. As a bit of trivia, the color is often associated by MJ’s best man in basketball, Scottie Pippen (and for those unaware, the Air More Uptempo is Scottie’s trademark sneaker) Yellow accents are also found in other parts of the sneakers as well.

While it looks like your typical Air More Uptempo through and through, this pair spruces things up by using TPU panels on the heel and tongue—something that is normally not used in most colorways.

Nike Air More Uptempo Light Citron Price

Currently, there’s no definite date as to when Nike will drop the Air More Uptempo Light Citron globally and in the Philippines, though expect it to retail for $170(~Php 8.2k). Expect retailers like Titan and Nike Park so sell this pair in good quantities since this is most likely a general release (GR) pair.
