After making quite a lot  of collaborations with sports brands, Stussy is taking a turn up the offbeat hill with a collaboration for scarves. This isn’t the first time Stussy has geared towards rather a unique collaboration—in December of last year, they had a collaboration with Harris Tweed for a 3-piece collection.

This collaboration is with Japanese brand, NOMA t.d. Founded in 2005 by Masako Noguchi and Takuma Sasaki, the “t.d.” of the brand actually stands for “textile design”, something that Noguchi is an expert in.

NOMA t.d. is identified for its hand-drawn prints and luxury material. These two characteristics are executed as well in the two Brazilian scarves designed for the collaboration. The collaboration features mirrored paisley illustrations at the center of the scarves. These are surrounded by a solid outline, in white or in brown, with the brands’ logos found at the corners of each print.

This collaboration has certainly gotten us curious on what other collaborations Stussy has up their sleeve. The NOMA t.d. x Stussy scarves are available for $165 USD each via Stussy’s web store and select stockists like Dover Street Market.
