A year after Zion Williamson got his signature sneaker from Jordan Brand, the young NBA star gets a new model with the Jordan Zion 2.

Williamson’s second signature sneaker comes with a revamped Stroebel unit, which is divided into three sections. Cushioning is taken care of by a full-length Zoom Air unit that’s around 20% larger in the forefoot area for increased response, along with a better cushioning on the heel.

You still get the same mid-cut build as its predecessor, though the Zion 2 adds a forefoot strap for better foot lockdown. Its overall look is a throwback to iconic Nike sneakers from the 80s and 90s–a closer look at the Zion 2 does show a homage to the Air Trainer 1. Other details include an updated Zion logo and a cup sole design that wraps throughout the upper.
