Staying true to its skateboarding roots, Vans teams up with skateboard brand Hockey for a collection that showcases a gritty and raw theme. Having worked together since 2018, Vans and Hockey continue their relationship this 2023 with fresh iterations of the Skate Old Skool and Skate Authentic Hi.
Both sneakers showcase a rebellious edge to modern skateboard culture, which is reflective of Hockey’s bold, high-saturation designs–all while equipping these sneakers with the latest Vans Skateboarding tech like PopCush insoles, Duracap reinforcements on the upper, and grippy SickStick rubber outsoles.
The Skate Old Skool features a minimalist black and gum boasts black and gum color scheme with slithering snake skin embellishments and bold red block letter Hockey hits.
The Skate Authentic Hi has a more utilitarian all-brown canvas upper with Hockey branding on the lateral side and a unique snakeskin print for the inner liner.
The Skate Old Skool is priced at Php 6,998, while the Skate Authentic Hi is priced at Php 7,998. Both models are available at Vans stores in Greenbelt 3, Glorietta 3, SM Megamall, and Ayala Cebu. The Skate Old Skool is also available at Vans Trinoma, Festival Mall, SM North Edsa, Robinsons Ermita, Alabang Town Center, and UP Town Center.
