Through adidas’ booming A-ZX collection, we have seen crazy collaborations and designs, from the Lego colorways to a Simpsons-inspired pair. As we continue to see how extensive this collection really is, we are constantly met with neck-breaking color blockings and designs. This time, it’s the adidas ZX 8000 Frozen Lemonade.

Taking inspiration from the timeless cool-down beverage, the sneaker boasts yellow panels and mint-green accents, which pay homage to the silhouette’s 80s Citrus colorway. In addition, this new sneaker also dons similar design elements to Nike’s Powerwall Air Max 1 ‘Lemonade’. Overall, the use of bright color throughout the shoe definitely epitomizes the iconic drink we’ve come to love.

Adding a bit of fun, Adidas pays very close attention to several parts of the sneaker that cannot be seen when worn. First, the inner tongue tag, which includes the name of the pair’s silhouette while replacing the 0’s for lemons. Second, the use of bright blue and green on the sneaker’s insoles, complementing the flare found within the rest of the sneaker. And last, but definitely not least, the complete Frozen Lemonade recipe exposed once you pull the insoles out!
