While people are going crazy over Dunks as of late, there’s no denying that the Air Jordan 1 High is still hyped up with every release. With this upcoming Hyper Royal colorway, the Air Jordan 1 craze is definitely not slowing down anytime soon.

Using the OG branding, the Air Jordan 1 High Hyper Royal comes with Nike Air-branded tongue tags and have the classic build we are all familiar with. While the tongue tags have that familiar Royal Blue color, the panels on the upper have a faded look, using suede to give it a more upscale quality.

They definitely look nice, as it reminds me of those washed jeans a lot of us really love. Just like with any Air Jordan 1, they are among those sneakers that look better the more you rock them–after all, it is always better to rock those kicks, right?

Those washed blue suede panels are complimented by white tumbled leather on the toebox and quarter panel, grey leather for the Swoosh and ankle collar, and classic embossed Wings branding on the upper. The classy-looking upper is paired with a white midsole and a light grey outsole to complete the look.

They are set to drop on April 17 for around Php 8.3k, which strongly indicates that they might be part of Jordan Brand’s Summer collection like the Air Jordan 4 LS White Oreo. We can’t tell if these will get sold out quickly and fetch high prices in the resell market, though the recently-released Kawhi Leonard-inspired Silver Toe colorway is fetching high prices in StockX despite being a Women’s Exclusive.

Yup, people are actually going bananas over this colorway.

Are the Hyper Royals a pair of Air Jordan 1s that’s destined to be another banger for Jordan brand? Are they better than the University Blue colorway that’s slated to drop this month? Let us know your thoughts!
