Gucci has sustained its reputation as one of the most classic luxury brands in the industry. Yet in recent years, it has added to this reputation with its ability to collaborate with brands even outside of fashion. This ability is once again displayed as Gucci partners up with the Japanese manga and anime fictional character, Doraemon, for a complete range of products in celebration of Chinese New Year 2021.

With more than 50 pieces, the capsule includes a range of bags, apparel, footwear, and accessories, most of them utilizing the iconic GG monogram pattern that is accompanied by the image of Doraemon. Keeping true to its roots, Gucci maintains its premium design through the use of green and red stripes in other pieces within the collection.

As Doraemon celebrates its 50th year anniversary, it comes as no surprise why Gucci chose the cultural icon to partake in their collection. The partnership of both parties greatly adds to the significance of the collection, making it likely to be memorable and classic.
