There’s something really exciting about seeing a new yet to be released to the public shoe. It’s that sense of exclusivity that makes it extra awesome. Today, we are privileged to see a pair that’s soon to drop publicly and we’ve got it right here and now.

UNDEFEATED and Converse are no strangers to each other when it comes to collaborations. In fact, they’re already synonymous with each other next to Nike. Granted that Converse is now a property of the Swoosh, that’s a no brainer that they collaborated with UNDEFEATED for a new take at the Chuck 70.

The Materials

Done up in a nice thick canvas upper with a distinct looking tiger camouflage pattern, less saturated it paves the way for the canvas textures to shine. Hints of army aesthetics like the patch on the back with the UNDFTD logo give it a distinct look.

The strength of this shoe is in the ironclad construction. Upon one look at the shoe, you can tell that it’s built like a tank. No half-stepping for the materials on this one.

What’s New?

Done up in a mid-cut form, we rarely see Converse collabs on the said silhouette, making this one extra interesting. This one looks unique as it deviates from the usual dark olive and brown look. For sure a camouflage Converse is nothing new but the tamer shade of camouflage makes this classier and more wearable than your usual army fare.

The Sizing

As usual, Converse’s sizing fits bigger than usual. Personally I’m a US Size 8 and I have to rock a full size smaller because they just fit too long and spacey. Considering these are Chucks and have less give because of its canvas nature, we’d suggest sticking to what you’d normally wear in your Converse shoes and you’ll be fine.

Where To Buy Them

Not yet available as of now and is set for an October release, our friend Bry Huggs already has them for sale if you’re interested. Nothing beats flossing an advanced pair just before everyone gets theirs. Ah, exclusivity.

Converse X UNDEFEATED Chuck 70 Verdict

While definitely not for everyone, these will take the cake if camouflage and Chucks are your thing. After all, Chucks are iconic and are guaranteed to withstand trends. So if you’re going for a functional sneaker with some street cred collaboration label on your feet, then this definitely the way to go.
