After teaming up with EGG FIASCO for a the UltraBoost DNA and QUICCS for a variety of special pieces that include the Harden Vol. 6 and Forum Low, adidas partners with Jappy Agoncillo for its City Shop “Manila Hoops” tee collection.

For the collection, Jappy Agoncillo designed two shirts–one for men and one for women–with both shorts paying homage to Philippine culture. Key elements to Jappy Agoncillo’s illustrations include key Filipino street foods like taho, isaw, betamax, and kwek-kwek, and key landmarks like the Manila skyline, Manila City Hall, and Roxas Boulevard.

The men’s design features a basketball player on the move while balancing a cup of Taho on his head. This is available in black, dark blue, and red colorways. The women’s design features the diverse women of Manila and is available in white and black colorways.

“It’s a great honor to be recognized by the brand through this collaboration that shares not only my story, but also the story of Manila’s unique culture. Just like how adidas as a brand is a timeless classic, I also wanted to create a design that will stand the test of time; able to connect with Filipinos regardless of time or generation,” Jappy Agoncillo shared.

The adidas x Jappy Agoncillo City Shop “Manila Hoops” collection will be available exclusively at the adidas Brand Center store in Glorietta, Makati for Php 1,550.
