adidas’ A-ZX collection has been coming up with interesting collabs. Whether it may involve LEGO, a National Park, or a legendary football club, these varying renditions of the ZX 8000 all look really nice. The latest to join the collab spree is Berlin-based creative agency deadHYPE, which represents the “D” in the A-ZX collection.

Called the “Thanos”, deadHYPE drew inspiration from the Mad Titan with its use of varying shades of purple on the upper. Unlike typical adidas releases, this one omits the Three Stripes branding, which is replaced by a clean suede panel.

If that color blocking rings a bell, that’s because it is the same one used on the “Frieza” Yung-1 that dropped back in 2018 as part of the Dragon Ball Z collection:

If you fancy this pair, the pair will drop via END on September 12 and via adidas US Online on September 18 for $120(~Php 5.9k). There’s no word yet if they will be available locally, but we hope adidas brings them to our shores.
