BGYO, a Filipino pop group that comprises of GELO, Akira, JL, Mikki, and Nate, nailed this in their recently launched first single and music video The Light. Their debut track speaks about empowerment, hope, and self-love. Aside from the song being really catchy and well-made, the impressive moves and choreography in the video got us really excited about what could be next for the group.
The video now has more than 1.2 million views since it was uploaded last January 29. Aside from earning a slew of followers, BGYO also landed an international photoshoot. The brand?None other than Privé Alliance, whose co-creative director is EXO’s Baekhyun.
From Privé Alliance’s Instagram posts, we see the boys rock the latest pieces from the fashion brand–all of which are designed by Baekhyun himself. This recent move by BGYO shows that Pinoy Pop groups can also grab the international spotlight, just like how K-Pop is popular across the globe.
