Halloween is the best time of the year for sneakerheads who are fans of black and orange colorways and skull motifs. Every October, Nike always manages to rethink a new way of putting a spooky twist to their iconic sneakers. For this Halloween, we will be seeing ghostly iterations of the Nike Dunk Low, Air Presto, and Air Force 1 Low. With that being said, take a look at the complete 2021 Nike Halloween Sneaker Collection below:
Nike SB Dunk Low ‘Mummy’
Paying homage to the 2019 ‘Night of Mischief’ release, this year’s Nike SB Dunk Low ‘Mummy’ boasts quite a unique aesthetic composed of tear-away uppers and ‘Coconut Milk’, ‘Seafoam’, and ‘Yellow Strike’ color blocking. In addition to the mummy wrapping, a glow-in-the-dark‘ Eye of Horus’ can be found on the sneaker’s heel tab, tongue label, and spider graphic on the left toe.
Nike Air Force 1 ‘Purple Skeleton’
We’ve seen Nike skeletal Air Forces time after time, with new colors serving as the base of the sneaker’s upper. For this Halloween, Nike decided to utilize deep purple to provide contrast against the glow-in-the-dark detailing and design. Overall, the purple makes for quite a nice addition to the wide array of Nike Halloween Sneaker Collection choices.
Nike Halloween Air Force 1 Experimental
The Nike Halloween Air Force 1 Experimental sneaker is primarily composed of a dark grey hue that serves as the base of the sneaker’s upper. Superimposed on this dark grey background are thrilling eyes. To add a little bit of color, the sneaker is detailed with bright orange heel tabs and lacing systems.
Nike Halloween Dunk Low
Part of the more uniform section of the Nike Halloween Sneaker Collection is the Halloween Dunk Low. The use and color-blocking of white, starfish orange, and rich black make the sneaker reminiscent of the shattered backboard colorway. The Halloween theme comes in through the spooky glowing pattern, which appears on the mudguards, eye stays, and heels.
Nike Halloween Air Presto
Nike Halloween Air Force 1
The Nike Halloween Air Force 1 takes the place of the darkest sneaker silhouette of the collection. This is due to the full black leather upper found between orange tongues/collars and a sail midsole. Yet, surprisingly, the sneaker becomes one of the brightest when the lights are turned off and the glowing eye print on the mudguards and heels are in full effect.
While we wait for the entire 2021 Nike Halloween collection to drop, take a look back at the Five Halloween-Themed Sneakers from Nike in 2020 to see how the different sneaker silhouettes have evolved in the past year.
