The return of the Kobe 5 Protro during Mamba Week caused a frenzy, with pairs going for double their SRP due to the immense demand. Those who missed out on the Mamba Week drops need not fret, as Nike will be releasing more Kobe 5 Protros. What makes the upcoming releases interesting is that they are based on PE pairs worn by DeMar DeRozan and PJ Tucker

DeMar DeRozan’s PE pair.

DeRozan’s PE pair goes for a tonal gray motif with a mix of zebra and checkerboard prints on the upper to add some pizzaz to the near-monochromatic colorway

PJ Tucker’s PE pair.

Tucker’s PE pair, on the other hand, is more colorful with its neon green laces, red on the heel, blue on the toecap, purple on the sock liner, and marbled particle gray overlays.

If you fancy either pair, reports say that DeRozan’s PE pair will go retail on September 18, while Tucker’s PE pair will drop on September 25. Which PE pair do you fancy more?

Speaking of Kobe 5 Protros, we are still waiting for Nike to drop the Bruce Lee colorways.
