In this day and age, collaborations play a big part in all industries, especially in fashion. What makes collaborations great is that it does not discriminate on brands: regardless of how old or new the brand is, all it takes is a good concept and a great execution to make it fly.

We have seen this with tried-and-tested ones like Supreme with basically every brand you can think of, Nike with Stussy, and adidas with Pharrell Williams.

There are a few unusual ones like Kanye West with GAP and Levi’s with Lego that we have to see how it goes, and high-key ones like Nike and Dior which drew immense hype and crazy prices.

The latest collab which should everyone look out for is Virgil Abloh’s Off-White with Stussy. Recenly, Abloh shared a photo on his Instagram stories that features a yet-to-be-released Stussy tee with the message “I Support Young Black Businesses” along with a graphic of the Great Sphinx of Giza.

The design of the said tee is reminiscent of Stussy’s older designs, which brings in the possibility of Abloh exploring Stussy’s vast archive. In case you are wondering, the “I Support Young Black Businesses” campaign is part of Abloh’s humanitarian endeavors.

For reference, the “I Support Young Black Businesses” Off-White collection, which was designed last year, is priced at $220(~Php 10.7k) for the tee and $440(~Php 21.3k) for the hoodie. Conservatively, we expect the Stussy collab to bring down the price to around Php 5k for the tee assuming it is easy to get one.
