Nike has always excelled in designing its own sneakers, whether it be for sport or casual use. However, there’s something about Nike collabs that set itself apart from the rest of the products. It is most likely the unification of two different brands to deliver their own perspective of the same vision that makes sneaker collabs so exciting. Fortunately for us, there are actually a lot of Nike sneaker collabs in store for the upcoming months, so we decided to collate a list of the Top 5 we are excited to see later this 2021 (or sometime early 2022):

1. Patta x Nike Air Max 1 “Noise Aqua”

Release Date: November 4
Sneaker Price: $160
Release Method: Nike SNKRS

Roughly two months ago, we got our first look at the Patta x Nike Air Max 1, and one of the silhouette’s colorways is releasing today. Perfectly in line with the wavy motif that this collaboration is trying to present, the aqua blue accents play a significant role in this sneaker’s design and aesthetic.

2. COMME des GARÇONS HOMME PLUS x Nike Air Foamposite One

Release Date: November 5
Sneaker Price: $520
Release Method: Dover Street Market

Foamposites haven’t been in the limelight for quite some time. Over the recent years, they’ve been outshined by many of the other hype sneaker silhouettes. However, Comme des Garçons HOMME PLUS is looking to change that as they are scheduled to release their take on the famous Japanese zen garden in sneaker form.

3. Travis Scott x Nike Air Max 1 “Wheat”

Release Date: December 16
Sneaker Price: TBD
Release Method: TBD

The Travis Scott x Nike Air Max 1 “Wheat” is quite different from past sneaker releases of the rapper due to the use of bright colors. In the past, we’ve gotten used to the utilization of earthy tones such as brown and tan as seen in the Travis Scott x Nike Air Jordan 1.

With this upcoming drop, a pale yellow tone serves as the focal point as it dresses up the mesh base, nubuck overlays, tongues, interior lining, and the reversed Swooshes that come in a textured canvas material.

4. A Ma Maniére x Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG

Release Date: Late 2021
Sneaker Price: TBD
Release Method: TBD

This super clean Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG colorway is the work of James Whitner and his team over at A Ma Maniére. The majority of the sneaker’s base layers, which include the toe boxes, overlays, quarters, and heels come in a premium off-white cracked leather material.

What carries the sneaker however is the luxe maroon accents on the laces, Nike Air tongue branding and ball-and-wings logos, in addition to the maroon-colored Swooshes and ankle collars that make use of snakeskin.

5. CLOT x Air Jordan 5 Low

Release Date: Late 2021 or Early 2022
Sneaker Price: TBD
Release Method: TBD

The Air Jordan 5 Low is a silhouette that is rarely used as a canvas for collaborations in recent times. CLOT, however, saw an opportunity in the sneaker and decided to design their own iteration.

Expected to release either late this year or early 2022, the CLOT x Air Jordan 5 Low boasts a black nubuck base accented by red sock liners and laces, as well as 3M reflective tongues, jade loops, and matching lace locks. Furthermore, unique branding is done through Jumpman motifs at the tongue, CLOT logos at the rear, “2″ and “3” in Chinese script at the heel, and printed insoles.
