Following Jaden Smith’s chunky reinterpretation of the X-Racer, rapper J. Cole channels his creative side with his first official collab with Puma. Called the RS-Dreamer, the sneaker is a basketball shoe version of the RS-X runner.

You probably have seen this pair on some occasions, as it is worn by Puma-endorsed NBA stars Kyle Kuzma and DeAndre Ayton ahead of the NBA restart, and that’s because the pair is meant to be used for both on-court and off-court.

Aside from the colorful midsole—where you get hints of yellow, purple, orange, and mint green—its standout design feature is Cole’s DREAMER logo on the heel.

“When said out loud, all the best dreams sound crazy. Dreamer was created with the belief that, still, we must follow ours, no matter how unachievable they may seem to others,” Cole explained about the sneaker’s design inspiration.

Other features of the RS-Dreamer include a 5/8 cut, sleek black upper with silver accents, and Puma’s RS cushioning for the midsole that is combined with ProFoam and a versatile traction pattern.

The RS-Dreamer is slated to drop in the US on July 31 for $125(~Php 6.2k). There’s no word yet if Puma will bring this basketball sneaker to the Philippines, so stay tuned to the site for updates.
