Laugh all you want, but Crocs-like slip-on clogs are the hot thing in footwear right now thanks to Yeezy Foam Runners making the design popular. adidas previously made a clog version of their Superstar, and Jordan Brand even has their own as well (though it’s a two-piece design like the upcoming adiFOM Q). Even New Balance, who is enjoying hype from its sneakers like the 550 and 2002R, actually has their own clog in their portfolio as well.

Announced in Korea, the New Balance Clog is made from EVA foam and comes in either beige or black. Making it distinct is the large N logo on the lateral side that’s accompanied by the usual New Balance branding. It shares a form factor similar to the Superstar clog down to the ventilation holes for breathability.

The footbed has New Balance’s logo to complete the look of the utilitarian sneaker.

New Balance Clog price

New Balance’s latest footwear is priced at 89,000 Won (~Php 3.8k), making it more expensive than the Superstar Clog BUT more affordable than the Yeezy Foam Runner. Both colorways are slated to drop on November 1 in Korea.

We don’t know if the clogs will remain exclusive in Korea, but given the surge in popularity and demand for slip-in sneakers, we’ll not be surprised if New Balance does make them available globally.
